'Viva.com Terminal' application Autostart
Information on the Auto launch app toggle.
Overview
By default, the ‘Viva.com Terminal’ application on PAX/Paydroid devices is launched automatically when the terminal device is powered on.
However, in some circumstances it may be preferable to suppress this auto-start functionality, giving the user the option of opening an application of their choice, or allowing a third-party application to auto-start instead.
In order to provide this flexibility, a toggle can be found within the app’s settings which can be used to turn this functionality on or off.
This functionality is only available for PAX/Paydroid devices (excluding the Q30)
Functionality
To toggle this setting, please follow the steps below:
On the main POS screen, click on the hamburger menu at the top-left:
Then click ‘System‘:
Then click ‘Settings‘:
Within the Settings menu, click on the ‘Auto launch app’ item:
From here, you can toggle the setting on or off:
